Patient care

Care that continues after day one.

Pepty supports licensed healthcare professionals with intake, telehealth, eligibility review, treatment education, monitoring, and escalation workflows, and gives patients a branded app with progress tracking, education, reminders, and doctor-led follow-up.

The care journey

One pathway, from source to aftercare.

Patient care sits inside the same infrastructure as sourcing and testing. The clinical steps below are where patients actually feel it.

  1. Sourcing
  2. Testing
  3. Clinical review
  4. Treatment
  5. Aftercare
01

Intake & eligibility

Patients begin with a structured intake. Eligibility is reviewed before any treatment conversation proceeds.

02

Clinical evaluation

A licensed healthcare professional evaluates each patient and determines whether treatment is appropriate at all.

03

Informed treatment education

Patients receive clear education on what is known, what remains uncertain, and what to expect, before deciding anything.

04

Monitoring & check-ins

Programs include scheduled check-ins and progress tracking, so treatment is reviewed over time rather than assumed.

05

Aftercare & escalation

Questions, side-effect reports, and follow-up route to the responsible clinician through defined workflows.

Who decides what

Clinician-led, always.

Pepty does not diagnose or prescribe. Licensed healthcare professionals remain responsible for evaluation, prescribing, treatment decisions, monitoring, and escalation, and beauty and wellness operators never make medical decisions.

Licensed healthcare professionals

  • Patient evaluation and eligibility decisions
  • Prescribing and treatment decisions
  • Monitoring, follow-up, and dose of clinical judgment
  • Escalation and adverse-event response

Beauty & wellness operators

  • The patient experience around care: hospitality, environment, logistics
  • Never diagnosis, prescribing, or treatment decisions
  • Never interpreting results or advising on clinical questions
  • Never handling escalation outside defined workflows

The digital patient experience

The program, in the patient's pocket.

Operators get a branded digital front door; patients get a clear, calm app for everything that happens between visits. No screenshots here. The product speaks for itself in the workshop.

Branded website & onboarding

A patient-facing front door under the operator’s own brand, built on Pepty infrastructure.

Online intake & payments

Structured intake and payment workflows that feed directly into eligibility review.

Personalized patient app

Each patient’s program, education, and schedule in one branded place.

Progress tracking

Patients and clinicians can see how a program is progressing between visits.

Education & reminders

Timely education and reminders that keep patients informed and on schedule.

Provider dashboards

Clinicians and operators see the status of every patient, batch, and follow-up.

AI-assisted support

Support that knows its limits.

Every patient question deserves a fast answer, and the right answer. Pepty's support assistants resolve level-1 questions immediately and hand everything clinical to licensed professionals.

Level-1 answers, instantly

AI assistants handle the routine (scheduling, reminders, logistics, and general education) so patients are never left waiting for a reply.

Built to escalate, never to improvise

Anything clinical routes to a licensed healthcare professional, with the full conversation attached. Assistants never give medical advice, interpret results, or make care decisions.

Honest about what it is

Patients always know when they are talking to an assistant, and a human professional is always reachable. Escalation is designed in, not an afterthought.

Aftercare & continuity

Care doesn't end when the first visit does.

Ongoing education

Patients keep learning after day one: what to expect, what to watch for, when to check in.

Doctor-led follow-up

Follow-up is led by licensed healthcare professionals, not by front-desk staff.

Side-effect reporting

Defined channels for reporting side effects, routed to the responsible clinician.

Question routing

Patient questions reach the right person: clinical questions go to clinicians.

Escalation support

Clear escalation workflows when a patient needs more than a routine answer.

Frequently asked questions

Does Pepty treat patients directly?

No. Pepty builds the infrastructure around care: intake, telehealth workflows, education, monitoring tools, and aftercare routing. Pepty does not diagnose or prescribe. Licensed healthcare professionals evaluate patients and make all clinical decisions.

What happens if a patient reports side effects?

Side-effect reports follow defined escalation workflows and are routed to the responsible licensed healthcare professional, with adverse-event reporting and follow-up procedures as part of the program. Patients are never left to self-triage through a chat widget.

Who makes prescribing decisions?

Only licensed healthcare professionals. Evaluation, prescribing, treatment decisions, monitoring, and escalation remain their responsibility. Beauty and wellness operators never make medical decisions. Their role is the experience around care, never the care itself.
